"We congratulate Jose Moreno for setting up his own stone landscaping company. We have used Jose twice with great results, pricing that is very fair, and a strong work ethic that is hard to find.
Our first project took place 6 years ago when we were new to our house in Evergreen, and Jose and his crew were working under a competent local GC who has since moved away from Colorado.
It entailed replacing a sorry, dry-laid entry walk-way with an 80-foot wet-laid walk-way, that rises and falls artfully via a set of 14 stone stairs, up and down and around complementing boulders that Jose laid adjacent to the walk-way for connection to our rocky landscape. The pathway, itself, is roughly 80-feet long as it makes a stunning entry to our front-door, with wired lighting along the way. The job is magnificent, and Jose and crew proved to us their craftsmanship, design talent, and highly skilled execution, all at a fair price.
Recently, as Jose set himself up as his own GC, we hired him and crew again for a significant second phase of stone-work, in this case a dry-laid set of stairs, a stone wall, and two complementing terraces. As with Jose's first work for us, this project proceeded with great expertise and timely, cost-effective workmanship.
